Description
Qubit Systems has been supplying dependable, accurate and cost-effective metabolic measurement systems for more than 30 years. We provide a range of products for monitoring human metabolism, including our wearable VOCO cardiopulmonary exercise system for breath-by-breath analysis of VO2, VCO2, and RER both indoors and out. VOCO weighs just over 1 Kg and allows for unrestricted movement during sports and other activities. Autocalibration circumvents drift, with data from just one breath lost during the procedure. VOCO control and data acquisition are mediated by an Android app. In-depth analysis of raw and parameter data, including automated Wasserman 9-panel plots, are accomplished using a desktop application. Qubit also designs and provides gas analysis equipment for metabolic rooms. Our unique S104 DOX differential O2 analyser has an unprecedented resolution of 1 ppm O2 against air, and vastly increases the time resolution between subject activity and measurement of corresponding energy expenditure. In addition to equipment for research, Qubit’s Q-teach Human O2 and CO2 Package is a very low-cost mixed expired air system for teaching human metabolism in the teaching laboratory.
